FreedomSampler™
FreedomSampler™ is a line of products compiled by Twisted Lincoln, Inc.™ that hopes to promote the idea of Free Software by offering alternatives to the proprietary applications that currently dominate the market.
Currently, there is only one version of FreedomSampler™ available, which contains a variety of software designed to run within Microsoft Windows.® We are currently working on a version for Mac OS®, but it is still under development. Check back soon for updates.
Unlike similar projects, FreedomSampler™ is designed to be easily redistributed. In compliance with the GNU General Public License (as well as many other Free Software licenses), the full corresponding source code is included in each FreedomSampler™ disc.

Bug found and fixed in 1.25 -- only occurs on Windows 2000
05-29-08:
Apparently, there was a bug in the original release of 1.25 that prevented the OpenOffice.org installer from properly launching when run within Windows 2000. This was a minor bug, and did not effect Windows XP. The problem has been fixed, and an updated ISO has already been uploaded that does not display the problem. Since the issue wasn't widespread (most people aren't using Windows 2000 anymore, anyway), and due to the fact that you could always run the OpenOffice.org installer manually, the version number will remain the same.
For those who have already downloaded or purchased the prior version, you can simply download the updated installer file here: Corrected start.exe. Once you have that, you can simply copy the contents of the CD to you hard drive, and replace the start.exe, or burn a new CD with the new installer.
Anyone who purchased a CD can also request to have a new copy shipped to them with the fix already installed -- we'll do this for free since it was our mistake. To do so, please post a note on our Online Fourm, and indicate your name, address, and original invoice number.
FreedomSampler™ Version 1.25 Released!
April 24th, 2008:
Version 1.25 brings updates to most of the programs on the disc, and also adds several features. Most notably, PeaZip and FileZilla have been added. PeaZip provides you with the ability to create and open several archive types, including ZIP files, and the popular GNU/Linux formats of TAR and BZ2. FileZilla is an excellent FTP client, giving you the ability to upload your content that you created with the other programs on the disc.
Also notable in this release is the inclusion of the odf-converter-integrator. This handy program will automatically convert files that were created with Microsoft Office 2007 into the Open Document formats usable within OpenOffice.org. This application is automatically installed when you install OpenOffice.org, so there is no configuration or special steps needed.
The full release notes for Version 1.25 are as follows:

FreedomSampler™ Version 1.21 Released!
March 19th, 2008:
Version 1.21 does not add any new software updates, but instead focuses on the installer. The most important new feature is that the installer now only copies over source code for the software you select, rather than coping the source code for everything on the disc, even if you only installed one program.
The full release notes for Version 1.21 are as follows:
FreedomSampler™ Version 1.20 Released!
March 03, 2008:
Version 1.20 adds an all-new Nullsoft Scriptable Installer System (NSIS) based setup program, rather than the simple HTML page that previous versions used. This drasticly reduces the time it takes to install multiple applications, as the installer is designed to automatically install all programs you select, without individually prompting for confirmation during each install. This installer system also preserves the original installers and source code archives on the CD, so you can still copy over individual setup programs and source code if you wish to distribute them seperately.
The full release notes for Version 1.20 are as follows:
